THE CHANGING FACE(S) OF STEVEN PATRICK

This article featured in the one-off fanzine Sounds Like Morrissey (produced by none other than Mark "Smiths Indeed" Taylor) way back in 1992.  I originally wrote it some time in 1991, and I'm afraid it was a tad negative in nature!  Soz, Moz! But as you can see, I'm still here many moons later! 

I forgot that at the time I offered to assist Mark with a bit of typesetting for this excellent publication, but I found the evidence amongst some old correspondence!

Where my esteemed "writing" career began, at Almondbury in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire! Note my "famed" name of old!

This was not long after I went to see Morrissey for the first time at Wembley Arena in London in 1991, when I asked Mark if the rumours were true about him planning to produce a Morrissey Fanzine

This is the original article that I submitted to Mark, before the title was changed due to it being too unwieldy for typesetting purposes!

September 10th 1991 from Mark, plans are afoot for the fanzine including me doing some more typesetting on the side!

Ta da!  The finished product, featuring the late, great Mr Ronald Wycherley, better known as Billy Fury!
